Employee Spotlight: Sara Potter

Our latest RPO Employee of the Month, selected by her peers for excellence day in and day out, is none other than Sara Potter.

“Sara has been an amazing addition to the team. She joined at the busiest time of the entire year and, in her first 6 weeks after completing new-hire training, she completed 119 phone assessments. Her willingness to jump right in and take on new challenges, all while maintaining a positive attitude is what stands out most to me. She is also very receptive to feedback and is always looking for ways to learn and grow. Sara has a very bright future at P1!”

We asked Sara a few questions to get to know her better.

Where are you originally from?
Mooresville, Indiana

What’s your favorite part of the business?
My favorite part of the business is letting a candidate know they’ve moved forward after hearing how well an interview went.

Favorite Food?
Anything with cheese!

Favorite TV show?
Parks and Recreation, The Office

Favorite Sports Team?
Indiana Hoosiers

Favorite vacation spot?
Southwestern US- Monument Valley, the Grand Canyon, and Canyon de Chelly

Favorite Client and why?
My favorite client is a large pharmaceutical company that we have worked with for many years because they have a wonderful reputation with sales reps and they’ve been involved with PrincetonOne for a long time. Most candidates I speak with about this company are very excited to be considered for a job with them.

Most satisfying placement and why?
My most satisfying placement was the recent round of Neurology Therapeutic Specialists. The company we represent added some new territories, and between me, another talent specialist, my RMs, the recruiting team, and the hiring managers, there have been 17 accepted offers in a six week period.

Person within PrincetonOne that you would like to acknowledge?
I would like to acknowledge Heather Jo Douglas for her amazing support of the TS team. She is always helping us find more efficient ways to do our jobs, better ways to talk to candidates, and she is always willing to help out where she can if someone gets bogged down with phone assessments or other tasks. She is very encouraging and supporting!

Person you most admire?
The person I most admire is my grandmother, Maetta. She always has a positive attitude, and she is very kind and generous to those around her. She loves her family so much, and supports us all, especially when we need it most.

Favorite mentor or mentee?
My favorite mentor in the RPO office has been Ryan Duffy. He is pretty laid back, but gets everything done well. He always keeps me up to date on the jobs we work on together, and was an excellent resource during my training with PrincetonOne.

One interesting fact that no one knows about you?
I used to sing in an a capella choir in high school. I was in a Madrigal choir, which meant we put on a dinner each year that was Renaissance-themed, and we sang a capella songs and put on a play with dinner. During my senior year, I was able to play the Queen of the Madrigal Dinner, which was one of my favorite memories of high school.
